Zeta to ECB PCB

The Zeta to ECB PCB attaches to the top side of the N8VEM Zeta PCB, plugging into the Z80 CPU socket.  The Z80 CPU is relocated to the Zeta to ECB board, which also contains a set of bus/buffer logic and ECB connector which allow for the Zeta to be connected to an ECB backplane and utilized as part of an ECB system with other N8VEM ECB cards.

 

This board may also be utilized to adapt other Z80 SBCs to the ECB bus.  

 

Sergey did the initial schematic/layout work in early 2013, based on the corresponding blocks of the SBC-V2 design.  Andrew B. is currently having "Rev 0" prototype PCBs fabricated for assembly and testing by interested builders.
